I’ve been writing stories since high school and
for most of my adult life, I’ve been writing collaborative stories on various
role-playing websites. 2 years ago, a friend I met on one of these sites wrote
a story with me and we tried to self-publish it. After minimal success
launching it and marketing it this year, we’ve since removed it from
circulation. But I’m always looking to try again and challenge myself with
different themes, genres, and audiences.
My current solo project is a series called Eye of
the Planchette(EoP). The first book, Boogeyman,
Boogeyman, Under My Bed is about a witch named Agatha who uses a spirit
board to contact a familiar spirit for herself. What she gets is the smart
mouthed Boogeyman, Jason Frye, and he turns her life upside down while locked into
service with her. At first, these changes seem to be detrimental but as they
spend more time together, their relationship develops and Agatha realizes that
not only is she more empowered by these changes in her life but that she also
has feelings for Frye.
Witchy,
Witch, In My Head is the second book in the series. As
Frye starts to realize his own feelings for Agatha, the witch starts to change
personality-wise. Little things at first, pride and arrogance popping up in the
normally sweet-natured young woman. Then slowly devolving into more drastic and
destructive changes as Agatha grows in power. Not only that but all the people
they pissed off in Book 1 start to react defensively towards the illicit
relationship between the familiar and his witch. Can Frye find out what is
happening and stop it before it’s too late?
There are more books planned but as of yet, I’m
waiting for these first two to be finished before revealing anything else about
the next books plans.
